IT’S EASY TO DONATE

Simple and secure, you can make a donation to the Foundation through our PayPal account. We have two simple options — a one-time donation, or a monthly recurring donation.  Simply complete the appropriate form below and you will be taken to the secure PayPal payment page.

You are not required to have a PayPal account for this transaction. As always, we thank you for your support of the children of the Maison Fortuné Orphanage. If you would rather not use the online form, you can mail us your donation.

Bequest

Remembering the Maison Fortuné Orphanage Foundation Inc. in your will is a special and effective way to ensure that the mission and ministry of the orphanage continue as part of your legacy. You may designate the Foundation’s Endowment Fund to receive a bequest of a specific dollar amount, a percentage of your estate, or specific assets such as stock securities or real estate.

Your bequest can also be designated for a specific purpose other than the Endowment Fund.  Choices include the operating budget, scholarships for secondary or post-secondary education of our children, the capital budget for construction and special projects, and more. When you rewrite your will or add a codicil, please consider a charitable bequest.

Ask your attorney to include this suggested language:
“I give, devise or bequeath to the Maison Fortuné Orphanage Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation in the Commonwealth of Virginia, [insert here a percentage of my estate, an amount in dollars, or property such as securities or real estate] for its Endowment Fund [or] for the following purpose _________________.”

Securities

You can make such gifts by mail or through a broker. For tax purposes, the value of the gift is recorded as the average mean on the postmark date. If transferred by a broker, the gift’s value is determined by the date of transfer into the Maison Fortuné Orphanage Foundation’s account.

Life Income Gifts

With a life income gift, you assign cash, securities or other assets irrevocably to the Maison Fortuné Orphanage Foundation. They are then invested to pay a lifetime percentage or fixed amount to you, to succeeding beneficiaries, or to whomever you designate. Income is paid monthly, quarterly, semi-annually or annually. Upon the death of the last surviving beneficiary, the Maison Fortuné Orphanage Foundation, Inc. may use the assets as needed, or for a specific purpose that you have designated.

Personal Property

Gifts of valuable artworks, antiques, or jewelry can be a valuable source of support for the work of the foundation.

Real Estate

You can offer real estate as an immediate gift or to fund a trust.

Life Insurance

By naming the Maison Fortuné Orphanage Foundation as the beneficiary of an existing life insurance policy, you can provide a significant source of support for the orphanage.
