Our children grow up with a better chance at future success, and are encouraged to seek higher education, and stay in Haiti, to help their community grow and prosper in the future. We are educating, inspiring, feeding, and caring for the future of this incredibly wonderful and complex nation.
Education
We have two campuses serving more than 85 girls and 150 boys, as well as teaching neighborhood children who attend our primary school. Each year we are helping provide education to more than 300 children in Hinche, Haiti. One of our goals is for our students to continue on to university after they graduate high school, by attending the local University or a vocational school to continue their education.
Our Family
Our children come to us from dire situations off the streets, from situations where they are being sold as property, or in some cases from single parent homes with no resources. We work with the Haitian Social Welfare agency to make sure we are the best option to meet that child’s needs. Once accepted to our family, MFO becomes the legal guardian.
Education
When you have the comforts of a home and fresh meals each day, it’s easy to forget that many people around the world do not. We not only provide a safe, stable home for children, we care for them. Each day our staff serves more than 700 meals and washes countless loads of laundry, all with love and care. Our children attend school, participate in sports, scouts and many other enriching activities.

The orphanage is supported and operated by the Maison Fortuné Orphanage Foundation. We raise awareness and funds needed to support and educate the children at the Maison Fortuné Orphanage in Hinche, Haiti so that they are empowered to become future leaders of Haiti.
